Man O Man.

Grew up shoveling it (heh) -- Saskatchewan is my home province (google it if you need to) -- but now that I'm in San Jose (google it... well.. you know) our shovels are related to gardening and such. And we're into desert gardening -- so I have spare shovels if you need them. :-)

love, kim.

It's even an aircooled flat /2 (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif)

I've only had to use it twice this winter...first time about 5" and yesterday we had 2" of snow.

I have 6, four in the garage, one in the car & truck, plus a snow blower. I gotta laugh, I still can't walk straight with this stupid inner ear problem, my neighbor down the street came in did our drive twice this week. The funny thing is he is 70, had a quad bypass done in '03 and here I am at 39 in good health othewise but cant walk straight to run the snow blower (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif)

Oh, he uses the blower, NO SHOVELS for him!

I'm hoping it gets no use this year.

I can't even count how many we have. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wacko.gif) I spent 3 hours after I got home last night clearing the 12" we got from tuesday thru wednesday. Heavy equipment required to clear the driveway though. First I push the piles to the side, then I have to use a bucket loader to lift the piles into smaller, higher piles. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/aktion035.gif) I'l try to post a pick when I get home.

Don't tell my wife, but I actually like playing with all my big toys when it snows (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/w00t.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/monkeydance.gif)

I've got one, but as a SoCal native the only times I've used it were after a 6 hour drive and 2 hour hike. Turns out I'm a big fan of snowshoe backpacking. Maybe I like it because of the novelty....

It's winter here in Manitoba
And the gentle breezes blow,
70 kilometres per hour
At 52 below!

Oh, how I love my Manitoba,
When the snow's up to my butt.
I take a breath of winter air,
And freeze my nostrils shut.

Yes, the weather here is wonderful!
So I guess I'll hang around.
I never could leave Manitoba,
Cuz I'm frozen to the ground!!!

I have lots of shovels and a 10hp 2 stage 28" wide snowblower which I yell at the kids to use.

Almost all riding mowers are made by one company...American Yard Products.

But it is top of the line, power lift, electric PTO, etc.
It's been a good machine.

1 shovel left over from or Lake Tahoe house.
I now use it to shovel/plow mud off the driveway of my construction project.
Works great.
But I would rather be shoveling snow than mud.

Two, for our Tahoe cabin. This photo is from the small road in front of the cabin on New Year's Eve morning (7:00 a.m.). We tried to push through about 3 feet of fresh powder but didn't make it. The snow was up to the door handles and tight against the car. My wife had to crawl out the window and go back to the cabin to get the shovels. A neighbor tried going through with his Humvee and couldn't do it. Snowplow did not show up until 1:30 p.m. From what I understand Tahoe has received many more feet since the New Year.
