Mark,

Andys

We do have a clearance issue that would require moving the position of the mirror up to accommodate. We will be producing all visors as shown with the exception of the one that has been specified. As it gets more difficult with more options, and more opportunity to have problems any further requests for the flap on the opposite side will cost the same price as these were when we did the last group buy. $125 per set.

When you say "mirror flap orientation" on the site, do you mean left or right or top or bottom flap?

Mark,

In an ealier post, you responded "I'll check with my guy to see if there are any clearance issues, but I don't see it as a problem."

So your guy says there's a clearance issue, and you will not offer the mirror flap oriented in the correct (factory) orientation in this group buy? Just want to be sure I understand correctly. Also, does the "naked" version cost less?

Thanks,

Andys

done

now to find the cores

If Mikey can make it work with two left side cores, I've got you covered.

I can make them as a left and right, but the screws will be opposite. I can flip one over, but the clamp is set up so it can only be used one way. If you don't mind screws on opposite sides (one up and one down) Yes it can be done.

Hope this helps.

Looks like this can be fixed by switching the orientation of the small threaded clip. Makes sense to produce one frame and use hardware to determine the proper orientation.

What are cores worth? I think I have one extra, don't know which side without digging it out.

I'll be printing my invoice as soon as I check the condition of my attachment brackets.

I'm short 3 of the screw hold down clips (as pictured above). Mine were so rusted up there not usable. Any suggestions on getting these clips or another way to add a speed nut? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Yes, You will need to check naked, and note you do want the pocket if you do.

I am tryig to round up some cores, but have not seen any come through yet. so I can't say if I will have any until I see them on my doorstep.

Andys,
We are offering a GB on the format we have produced and have templates for. We are doing so at a price $21 less that the last GB. We can move the mirror up slightly to make the flap on the opposite side as requested, it just costs us more to have more options. It has to do with the way we make them. These are not idential to factory, but are a good alternative.

No the naked does not cost less, as we are giving you the buy at the price of the naked ones on the old GB.

On the last GBthe majority of the guys want them with all the options, so we set up to make them in mass at the lower price. We have made all the parts, the question is do you want them attached to yours?

Were just trying to get you a good product at the best possible price for the majority.

Mine is 3683

Does anyone know what the name of the speed nut clip is??? I'm searching but not seeing anything online like this. Stopping by Ace Hardware later today, too.

Thanks!

Mike...unless you say otherwise, I'm holding off shipping the cores for a couple of days in search of the speed nuts. Bill
