I was going to use this ring and pinion in my 914/4 transmission rebuild but I have decided that I will use the stock 914 gearing. The pinion shaft will need to be milled in length to fit. CMS in California (http://www.californiamotorsports.net) has the ability to mill the pinion to the proper length.
Asking $400.00 plus shipping (CONUS) Thanks for looking! Greg Attached image(s) |

Greg Please expand on calif work..." Mill the pinion to proper length " Inquisitive minds (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) The pinion shaft is longer than the standard 7:31 901/914 pinion shaft. To make this pinion work in a standard 901/914 trans case, the length needs to be shortened and the end remilled. I'm not an expert so this is the "simple" explanation. |
