Now that the weather is cooperating, I decided to take the teener to work. Some of my co-workers wanted to see it. So, this morning, on my way to work I'm on the road to work. 3 lanes per side, posted speed limit is 45. I'm cruising at a very comfortable 50, listening to the sound of the engine, and thinking about showing the car to my coworkers.

Traffic is flowing, hit every green light, life is good....

Enter STUPID BIOTCH who decides to cross the street... Damn old woman decides to cross the main street in the whole city... while the light is green. Mind you, they have a stop signal with thos fancy little buttons to press when you want to cross the street.

But no... she decides she's a hell of a lot more important than the traffic coming along. I locked them up and left quite a bit of smoke behind me... thank god for those new brakes... but damn.. What on earth was she NOT thinking????

Then she has the gall to give me a dirty look... I double checked... yup.. light is green. She gets over to the median and starts to cross the other way... same result on the other side. So she turns back around and starts heading back again toward the side of the street where she first started...

Yeah... it wasn't a very good day.

Got my vote (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif) Though lately we've been having problems around here with people not even slowing down for stopsigns. I almost got t-boned the other day because of some dumbass (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ar15.gif)

I like when pedestrians (old folks, young folks, kids, dogs, etc.) start crossing a multi lane road as your approaching. They're just so confident that you will stay in the lane you're in... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/w00t.gif)

lets do the math on this...

old lady, was looking so i'd say she would be worth approx...8 points! BUT, if she was to come back from the other way after almost being hit, thats 10 points! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/bootyshake.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving-girl.gif)

there for the grace of god go I

Sometimes I just cant believe what I read. Imagine that old lady was your grandmother, and some butt head starts talking they way you guys have. The only idiots I have seen are the ones making a game out of hitting pedestrians

Pedestrians always have the right of way. Period

this is for you idiots (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/flipa.gif)

A real hazard here in SoCal is the joggers! I have almost tagged several of them as esp. at dusk they are extremely hard to see and tend to keep jogging full speed into the crosswalk...or even across the road w/o a crosswalk. Right of way or not, it is insane to run into the road wearing a dark sweatsuit & headphones at sunset (or after) without slowing down or checking for oncoming traffic.

Grandma's are one thing but it would be a REAL shame to bring home a Malibu Co-ed stuck to the front bumper...

Maybe I'm wrong (or just a male chauvinist pig) but... bringing home a coed is always a good thing (in my book)!!!!

Not only do they feel that they have the right of way...but they also want to show their appreciation by flipping you off. Joggers like doing that.

They may have the right of way, but does that include the right to be stupid? As far as Grandma goes it might not be under her control.

anyone for a drive by fruiting??
I always have an apple or two in the car!!
If you really want to be nasty, rutabagas do a real number on the unsuspecting jogger, at 39 cents a pound its a lot of fun cheap (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)
