Hey, there's probably a better way to do this, I'm open to hearing it,
but I saw this 10lb motorcycle battery on clearance for $8 and had to get it. Made up a safe bracket for it. Since I got the Optima (the bigger one which is 40lb), I've thought I need to save some weight for AX, and you can't do much in stock classes, but they don't specify what you have to run for a battery. Surprsingly, this thing will start up the -6. But I plan on only using it while the car is warm so as not to kill it prematurely. Of course I need to lose 25lbs too, but it ain't gonna happen this easily (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Mark S. '70 914-6 Attached image(s) |
