Oh No! The dreaded F (ee) word. Mike, not to hijack your post, but those red wheels would really look sharp on Manfred. |

my car is hiede ( mispelled on purpose ) i want to be there , and i am going to try lets see 400 gas round trip ( 2800 miles each way ) plus 150 for "track fees" ( i know (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/slap.gif) ) plus hotel and food would work out to about 1200 bucks or half of what my car cost me. and that based on the 914 gas milage, if i had to drive the pathfinder the gas alone would be closer to 800 now i might have a line on free air w/ a stay at selected hotels, this offer comes from my tux rental place for my marriage to scotts tool wench in oct. but i know no more info than this on the tickets but i want to come so maybe i should set up a marriage gift plan so you all can donate money for gas |

problem with flying... is that if i have to pay for tickets, it would be 400 bucks for the cheapest tickets i can get for 2 people, more like 600 to 700, or more money than driving. and money is real tight with starting my own company and all |

ya first year in business, right off 1500 bucks for a trip to cali. like i will get a lot of electric work 2800 mile from home. can we say jail for tax fraud BTW southwest airfare for 2 with cheapest tickets they offer works out to 886 with taxes and etc, or twice gas. now there is a chance that a friend of teris might come along, and we could use her car and split gas but i am not banking on that, but then if the 914 is done it would not come along 3 people in a 914 for 2800 miles... not ! |

Thanks Carl, you saved me the trouble (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif) And the only time I'll see Manfred's ass is in my rearview mirror as Zits spins off the track. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wacko.gif) |
