On the engine.. No other oil cooler was installed on stock production 6's

The console on the oil tank. The 6 is a dry sump engine

The Factory oil COOLER on a 914-6 is mounted to the engine on the drivers
side rear of the engine.Toward the back of the car.
Here is a picture of a 914-6 oil cooler on an early 911 engine.. Same mounting spot on both engines.

see red arrow.

For a 2.5 Twin-Plug, you may want to run a Front Cooler like a GT. I don't know if Eric (PMB) ever did the Copper Oil Lines that run down the Drivers Side

Which I'm sure was not cheap, which is even more the Reason for a Front Cooler
