Hello everybody, I'm the recent new owner of a '72 Porsche 914. I've seen at "engine numbers" section of this web page that there are no 2000c.c. motors in1972 for the 914, but at "productions number" section, I've seen that in 1972 were produced 4817 models with 2000c.c. motors. Could anyone explain me this. Thank you and sorry for my poor English, I'm from Spain, Mallorca.

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/agree.gif) looks like a 1.7L to me. you won't know for sure until you open it up (someone could have put a big-bore kit on it). that thing needs some cleaning, but i have seen worse coming back to live! In my area, no one. I have heard stories about any 914, but I haven't seen anyone. I have gone to Murcia to buy it. I will be the only one. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif) |
