Yes, say hi to the Queen Mum. If she ever comes state side, we might get her in the Limo if it's done. Better a 914Limo than some Brit Limo with Lucas and all that (I'm a former TR6er).

Love your car, send up some more pics when you have a chance.

Changed all the fuel lines in the engine bay and took a few pics of the car. I also have removed the tie rods and I'm replacing with Lemforder turbo tie rod kit. I took a nice pic before the surgery commenced.

That is a damn good-looking car! I LOVE blue on a 914! Especially the medium-darker rich color blues (like Alaska). Don't see enough blues and if you do it's usually a lighter one like Olympic (not crazy about with the black contrast). Your other two VWs are very nice. I've always wanted a Ghia and a nice 60's Type 1. Congrats! I hope and think you'll love your 914 even better!

Thanks for the nice comments. I've fitted the turbo tie rods tonight and this means I'm getting closer to making the car UK road legal. I can't wait for a bit of seat time before our weather changes. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Welcome to the UK chapter of 914World! I think it's only you, me and a bloke in Northern Ireland...... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif)

Really nice car & it's mobile! Since the sale of my -4 back in the summer I'm having driving withdrawal symptoms and it will be a long time until my -6 is back on the road (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Got all the relavant documents to be able to use the car, took it for a 30 mile ride to familiarise myself with it, shifting from 1st to 2nd took a bit of getting used to. Really pleased with it tho and it's great fun to drive. It's a little quicker than I thought it maybe so I'm also pleased about that.
