Ladies and Gentlemen,
We apologize for yesterday's unfortunate postings, threats and profanity. The individuals responsible have been asked to take a break from the 914world.com for a few days. Unfortunately, 90% of our efforts are consumed by a tiny percentage of members who don't play well with others. We don't like to say this, but if you feel the need to drag your "issues" over from other Forums, BBSs, mailing lists or whatever... we're going to ask you to take a break from participating here. The Admin team doesn't spend enough time thanking the members who DO contribute (more than the classifieds), DO play nicely, and DO really make the Garage a great place. There are too many GREAT people to mention them all by name. So, thank you. Really. You guys make it fun to help work on the board. Sincerly, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spid... uhhhh... Admin Team (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) -Rusty (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smoke.gif) |

Thanks Rusty. Those events really tarnish the forum and take away the fun of it all. The admins do a great job of keeping this place focused on 914s and we are in your continual debt for having to be the forum police from time to time.
Its a thankless job...but we thank you. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool.gif) |

Last night I was reading a thread that had been hijacked at was laughing my ass off at everyone having a good time. Then suddenly one of the persons from an argument earlier in the day jumped in and started bashing. The thread was immediatly deleted. Thanks alot! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/boid.gif) It really upsets me when unhappy club members feel the need to bash another club member and let their "baggage" go here. Espically when others are having a good time. Leave your baggage on the front porch or in your own email box. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/pissoff.gif) (rant over. now its time for a little... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/grouphug.gif) ) |

I wonder if 914profanity.com is taken. They could start there own web site. Of course I would setup parental controls for my children. |

OK, Rusty, but where will Z, slits and I get our sources for comic material? Humor is a good antidote for some of the poison spewed here.

Thanks Rusty,
Appreciate your concern. We can't let this wonderful site get out of control. I cringe sometimes with the wild potty mouth content. Thats why we need Admin's You guys are like parents, you sometimes have to slap down the loud mouth kids. Yea, entertaining but not appreciated by everyone. Keep up the good work. Tom |
