It appears that the front clip was replaced with a factory replacement. The replacement panels didn't have the front holes punched out.

That might explain the lack of a VIN on the fender ...

The rest of the chassis appears to be a real /6.

the VIN number is cut out and a piece of steal is welded in, you can see the weld on the bottom of the wheel house.
