Looking to dress up the engine bay on my 911 powered 356...currently has rain
shields...since this car will NEVER see rain due to NO TOP....don't need
them.

Any recommendations for interesting air cleaners? Anyone have something they
wanna trade for the rainshields?

JP used to have a set of really coold air filters, then he traded 'em to some yahoo for some reason.
You might want to contact him, maybe he'll make you a deal on 'em if he hasn't sold 'em already! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)

Mike,

I have it on strong authority that unless its a big motor (3.0 ish) or its a high rpm motor (7500 and up) that K and N's are fine...

my race shop recommends ITG (like Chris' beauties) for a full race motor, but claims no gain without porting/cams/head work of a lesser motor

I'll trade ya a stock air cleaner assembly for your rain shields (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)

Let me know if you want to unload the rain shields (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

Ya chump, they don't make em' any more....but you already know that......AUGGH.
I only solt em' to ya cause I thought you was really hot for em'....not just to pimp up some shit box you was tryin' to sell.

I'm happy with the ITGs, but they arean't nearly the conversation piece them Wolferts were.
The ITGs are impossible in the rain....so I have a good excuse not to go there. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

MR. CHUMP to you.

I had them on the Blonde for sale, took them off. They are on a 3.0 six that I am building. Manfred and Frank have Rainshields. Tried to get some more from Wolfert but they have discontinued making them.

So who makes those custom 911 models? Trekkor, where did ya get the K&Ns?

Anyone ever see the velocity stack ones that have individual screens?

Wasn't Dan Root in contact with the guy that mad the "914-6" covers, like the 911 ones above? I think they were $120'ish and Root was trying to get a Club price cheeper then that.. Sub $100 would be nice (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving.gif)

Cheers
