Hi Rob - That car is looking good. What size are the tips on the muffler? My last Six had the same set-up and it sounded very nice. You are in P-town and I am in Alamo. I really want to come over and check out your cars.
Michael

Michael,

You're welcome to come for a visit any time. I'm 0 for 2 for running 914s right now. Maybe in a month or so I can get one up and going. The muffler is a Dansk.

Seems like a lot of work just for a picture. But, thank you. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)

The rod looks dirty. I might need to make you a new one... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I assume that's a side shifter trans?
I'm going to convert from tail to side shifter and looking to understand the parts needed.

Getting closer....

The right accelerator cable is installed (installed a /4 then a /6 cable) there is some cable slop though. Is there a way to tie a knot or something.

Adjusted the clutch. Seems to be OK.

Brakes are squishy to the floor but then become OK if pumped. Might need a flush.

Roof is at Yeoman's

Got the 911 Oil Breather Hose in the mail, but need some big clamps...

Time to start?

Probably a dumb question but who or what is Yeoman's?

Yeoman is a Porsche ish body shop in Palo Alto, that can shoot targa tops and refinish them.

Scott has a /6 and a couple tube frame 914s.
