I have gone to a brushed aluminum look on my '74-2.0 on the interior, nothing big but the switch area on the dash, the Momo steering wheel spokes, and the window cranks are all now brushed aluminum.
now I want to dress up the area behind the front trunk wall by covering the clutter (except the fuel tank area) with some aluminum panels. has anyone out there done this. LOOKING FOR IDEAS. |

I agree, that is a clean look.- something to consider.
I also have an issue with the front trunk lid sagging when open. the springs are in the tightest position but it still sags. could those spring have become weak? anyone else have this problem? |

Very nice! My car had a thick plywood covered with carpet. This was a big improvement. What you have if far above that! I would try new springs. It looks like you are using the highest mounting point already. When you change the springs, remove the hings bolt. This often corrodes and binds. Give it a good grease job before replacing |
