For anyone who would happen to have a Boxster shifter, would there be some pictures that could be shared as to the layout/ideas on how the console was set up in the cab?

Toyota MR2 also uses cable shift and can be had for a bit less $$ than either of those. I would imagine that, in its 3rd generation, its operation is similar to that of the Lotus (since they shift the same gear box).
