I know there is a left and right side, but which way ? The instructions include a hand drawn picture that doesn't clearly show the orientation..........Does anyone have a picture of either side installed on your car........Thanks in advance.

I'm confused about a drawing, I've never drawn it and my instructions include a picture of the left side, oriented to show the alignment.

In the picture you can see the vertical support bracket, the hinge, and the stamping for the 914/6 oil filler. The angled side of the bracket is to the rear. The picture is taken with the trunk lid closed and shows 3 of the four holes can be accessed for drilling. Once these three are installed, the trunk can be raised, moving the hinge away so the last hole can be drilled.

Since the pivot is installed with the deck lid closed and aligned, it really does not matter how it is oriented as long as you can access the holes for installation. The picture gives the general idea.

James...........I bought my set from someone that didn't use them, but advertised them as directions included. The directions were kinda cartooney . After your reply I followed the link to your web site and noticed that you have the instructions there available for print....Thanks again for your reply and thanks to all for the help.
