We used to call this skitching! Part skiing and part hitching a ride. Although we did it on the back of cars on the road. Great fun as a teenager.
You had to make sure the roads were covered with snow/ice, any bare spots with pavement showing put you down in a hurry. |

Did it growing up on Long Island, Till my mom watched me going right past our house. Good times! Beetles have the best bumpers for this. |
