Oh,those zany Bavarians,having fun in the snow.
Looks the blast,if you can get past the spray and exhaust.

We used to call this skitching! Part skiing and part hitching a ride. Although we did it on the back of cars on the road. Great fun as a teenager.
You had to make sure the roads were covered with snow/ice, any bare spots with pavement showing put you down in a hurry.

We called it bumper sliding in high school.....not overly imaginative, I know!
My dad used to do something similar in Chicago winters to get to school apparently. Although, he didn't have skis...........

Yup. Did it growing up on Long Island, Till my mom watched me going right past our house. Good times!
Beetles have the best bumpers for this.
