Porsche Speed Record

How fast would a 914 go with that engine? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/unsure.gif)

I've seen a report about this event in german TV - just strange
their primary problem was, that the Nardi-Circuit is a circuit and not a straight road, so they needed a bigger rear wing for more downforce (with the "standard wing" they drifted the half circuit, what's rather dangerous (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) )
they needed more attempts, at the last they dismounted the wiper arms and the mirrors for lower air resistance - and then it worked

but they missed their actual target, they wanted to go over 400 km/h (= 250 mph)
