I've seen a report about this event in german TV - just strange
their primary problem was, that the Nardi-Circuit is a circuit and not a straight road, so they needed a bigger rear wing for more downforce (with the "standard wing" they drifted the half circuit, what's rather dangerous
)
they needed more attempts, at the last they dismounted the wiper arms and the mirrors for lower air resistance - and then it worked
but they missed their actual target, they wanted to go over 400 km/h (= 250 mph)
