Have a great trip Eric! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

This is a trip everyone should make! I drove a 914 from Boston to Los Angeles back in 1991 and had a great time.

If you want to drive a little north, come up to New England! ......

Or maybe it's best to stay out of the 8 feet of snow up in NE.

You guys only have 8 feet out your way?

If we are still up to our necks in snow I can understand you not coming to Moncton. However, if you do, the first beer and a lobster are on me! It's just up the road a bit from Hershey, well quite a bit! I'm pretty sure I can get you a death defying ride on a snowmobile!

I can afford you a wakefulness-defying snow bound day in Madison. But I think we are far north of your track. I am trying to get a couple cars of the era up to the same task though. Good luck!

Have you planned your route from Live Oak to Hershey? Will you be stopping in VA?

Inquiring minds want to know . . . (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Richmond... then on to Hershey.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

Hmmmm......timing? Would be fun to cross paths with you as you come through....& buy you a brew...

Will try to catch up with you in Richmondo then--assuming I don't make it to Hershey. The car ought to make it that far--and back, hopefully (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Looking forward to the documentary!

Hey Eric,

I may try to make it to Big Corona Beach in Corona Del Mar for the send off, if I can get my butt in gear.

Quick question: It's a pretty good sized beach... how will I find you guys? Look for a fire pit surrounded by jack stands?

Am I supposed to bring hot dogs, etc?

Parking usually reeks up there during the day, but maybe by that late in the day it will have thinned out.

Thanks so much Eric and your band of merry men for the great beach gathering Saturday night. I don't know how you guys managed to pull this whole thing off and do the swap Sunday, but it was class and fun. Get some sleep, you'll need it!!!!!

Enjoy the adventure guys. Happy motoring. Thanks for dinner.
(several people had real cameras tonight, not just crappy a cell phone, so there should be good photos to follow)
