Here are a couple of photos from one of the 914's that team Brumos races.
I think it's a Hewland trans. It must be expensive??? I like the pedals and I guess if you run this system you will need a hydraulic clutch. Quilmes Attached image(s) ![]() |

I agree... but if your getting invited to rennsport and monterey.. who cares about PCA... I can't really afford to leave state, so PCA participation mattered a lot to me. |

That car has been runnning the sequential box in HSR for quite some time. Rumor has it that it cost around $30K.
Bob Snodgrass is my hero. That's why guys like me don't win the lotto. I'd walk into Brumos with $200K and say build me one like yours. |

That is not one of the orginal Brumos cars. That car was built much later. Jon Lowe's website shows all the original Brumos cars.

have you seen underneath too? what do they have on it for a motor mount. there is some type of (?quick-six) black bar type brace or mount in the picture. |

Yes the original Brumos #59 still has the old style trans, I just think that it is neat to see how this team is constantly improving on this model. Here is a better picture of the engine bar you requested Attached image(s) ![]() |

Wow! That looks plenty strong...
looks like they dropped the drivers floor down as well, i'm guessing for seat clearance? very trick! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif) stutgart46, thanks for the reminder, seeing cars like this is what reminds me to buy a lotto ticket (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) Ferg |

I saw John awhile back. He got out of 914s and started playing with model airplanes. Too bad.
