For those of you who are more familiar with the DMV and its in and outs...
I have a 71 914 that hasn't been registered since 1998 (says expires 1999, so that means 1998 I think). Does anyone know when/if cars fall out of the DMV system and you don't have to pay all the back fees? I went in a talked with the local DMV a year ago and it was still in the system. |

It took me from August to the end of December to get it all done.
It was done through telephone calls and mail. I did it from Indy. Make sure to get everyone's name and tel. no. and extensions. They have a way of forgetting & giving different info depending what phase the moon is in! |
