OK @bbrock , I'll give these a go instead of eating the shipping to return the SWF blades. Will post up on the fit once I get them.

These are a no go as well......................... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)

That sucks! Sounds like we need @Mikey914 to come to the rescue. It's pretty ridiculous these clips aren't available from the blade manufacturers.

Anybody know if this is the correct clip? If so, I have found a source.

I have some Bosch blades that are new in box at home from Okteenerfest a few years back I will check to see but I think those look exactly like what I have, will recheck tonight. I can tell you they just don't seem to grab and hold very well,

Here are the clips I just took off my 30+ year old Bosch wiper holders. Same as the clips in Johnny Blacktain's pic above. Of course, the one on the left was brittle and shattered (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)

Found them at one of my go to parts sources...Bug City! They have the adapters for the 7mm wiper arms.

$9.95 and $12.95.....each......EACH ! That is called price goughing. Plus an
additional $3.00 Porsche tax.

So here is how their pricing works, there is limited quantity and the first units sold are at lower prices. As inventory goes down, price goes up. Early bird gets the worm.

I paid $3.95 per clip and $49.95 for NOS Bosch wiper arms. Now they are down to the last set of arms, today's price $119.95...............market economy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

We have two Bugs and my soon to be 914-6. It'll be nice to have a few of these around. I think my order total was around $60 which seems crazy for wipers....sorry, little mounting clips for wipers. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

I am no expert, but the pictures from bbrock look like the same ones used on beetles, ghias and T2 busses.... VW part 113 955 433 and they cost not the $$ as I see in other posts.... I see them for 7$ a pair.... I have no idea if they are the correct width, but maybe worth a try to figure out ?

Gee, wish I would have found this thread two weeks ago. Just got a pair (964-628-901-02-M14) from Pelican - they don't fit on original wiper arms despite the "fitment" indication. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chair.gif)
Fortunately my old clips are good so will follow the advice posted earlier. Seems like this problem is ongoing. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I've been making the correct wiper arms and blades for 10 years. They are exact copies of the original SWF version. I also make the RHD version as well.

I'm using the very early steel clip around the pivot point rather than the plastic one which will get brittle and break, I changed to that on my second run of them.

$50 a pair for the arms, and $40 pair for the blades. Older picture on the arms, they have a bit more "bow" in them.

Sorry, I don't have rubber insert separately.

Tks,
Eric

Resurrecting this old thread 'cause I need wipers (and clips) and this thread is a little less than clear on these necessary clips for the 7mm arms:

I was hoping @914_7T3 or anyone else could confirm that the clips in the above pictures are the same item ?

They look the same but he never said so.. and I'm looking at these which have the same looking clips.
