Looks like it was a lot of fun! Joe's shop is busy! Lots of crazy cool projects going on in there. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) Thanks for the pictures! I'm tentatively planning on driving out there for next year's Tropical Ramble ... will see. I'd like my car to return to where she was born for a visit, and I need to plan out a long trip sometime. Will see...

There was no shortage of 914s or car talk. Joe's shop is stuffed with interesting projects, including some original sixes. This car has custom made flares and a rotary engine. There was a 930 turbo and a Karman Gia project. George brought the Chump Car, still running strong. This parts car features a chalon kit, but it also has a 915 transmission and a built up 460 small block chevy with a $12K build sheet. Joe called it the "Borg Car". It has lots of "interesting" modifications done in a hacked up fashion. Joe is obviously keeping very busy! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welder.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif) Next year, rumor has it that George and I will be organizing the Ramble, once again based at Series9! John |
