The three things I called in for were 'not on the list' but wen I said "OK, I'll take them anyway" they said they would ship on monday. What's up with that shit? The only 'big ticket' item was the "every seal for the car" kit for $600. (BAA500 I think)
I was pretty pissed...so I didn't order. Now I see why everyone here gives a big-ole (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/finger.gif) to AA... |

Okay let me see, today is Saturday, UPS and FedEx do not pick up on Saturdays. Am I missing something here? I can tell you that if you would have placed the order you would have really blown your top because Monday is a Holiday and your order wouldn't have been mailed until Tuesday. |

I'm completely aware of the days of the week. The fact that they said "only in-stock items are on sale" and then tell me that the parts that I wanted were NOT in stock to be on sale, but would meraculously appear in time to ship monday tells me something is fishey. I even asked if they were having it drop-shipped from another supplier and he said "No, this is our own kit, nobody else carries it." I say:bullshit: |

That does sound wacked (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wacko.gif) I had a list ready but it was too hard to use the online ordering/checkout. I'll e-mail Dave (GPR) and see what he can do. The Bird is getting half my order and the other half is going to Dave. Cheers (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beerchug.gif) |

The sale was "in stock" only. I was over at AA on Saturday morning @ 8:55 and picked up one of the "great seal kits", a GT flared FG rear valence, and a bump steer kit. Then I called Dave and got a good deal on a Momo wheel and hub adapter. I was looking for coil-over rear Konis but these are items that neither had in stock....they wait for people to place an order before they order it from their local distributor.
Over all, I was pleasantly surprised. |
