Its about 5:15 now and I am out in the garage, its windy, raining and even hail coming down outside. I can hear the thunder and see flashes of lightning outside. I have not seen a storm like this in winter for a long time. This is more like a summer or fall storm. When will I ever get to drive my car?

we just finnish a week of above freezing, things were melting...in Feb, where I live, this is as strange as snow in Florida. I had high hopes of taking my car out early this year, but we're back to normall now (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/confused24.gif)

Scott,

I live in the foothills of Mt. Jacinto on the road to Idyllwild and the same things is happening here. It rained all night long! No Porsche today, but some outstanding mountain biking is in order!

Pretty nasty here as well. Rained all night and it's supposed to pick up again today. Gonna see what I can get done on the car. My problem is that I need to do some primering. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif)

Sounds like you guys are really getting the short end of the stick out there. So much for perpetual sunshine in SoCal. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)

It's supposed to be mid to upper 50s all weekend here in Denver (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif)

I think I'll take the teener out tomorrow (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving.gif) Can't wait!

Only 9"? And I thought Tucson was dry with 12" annual rainfall.

We actually have a snow advisory for tonight and tommorow, up to 7" total accumulation they say. It's been since the beg of December that we had that.

Should be a good Pres. weekend at Bachelor for any snow shredders heading that way.

Good thing I had to pull the engine back out of the car or I would be anxious to drive.

Like Geoff said it is nice here. We have been having some great weather the last few days. We don't have any water shed though. It is pretty dry for this area.

Different weather in SoCal is nice, but not early morning where it wakes me up and I'm trying to sleep in on a Saturday!!!

Thunder and Lightning is cool though and was fun to listen to...didn't get to see it (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/mad.gif)

Last night we had a ton of lightning very close to us. In fact there were probably three bolts of it that hit within less than a mile of us. Streetlights turned off briefly, car alarms started wailing, the whole apartment building rumbled likea small earthquake. One of the strikes must have been on our street because I saw some bright orange embers fall from one of the power poles just across the street. Of course just after that the idiot across the street walks outside to see what is going on.
