Looking for a Ignition CM for my 1974 2.7l engine. I see the MSD 6201 Digital 6A on pelican and I am wondering if i'll run into any issues with that, and also what else would I need?

I think I'll go with that unit I mentioned. Do you have the coil part number? And with the cd and the new coil I should be ok as far as ignition correct? Why? Why would you not want to take advantage of having a soft rev limiter? Just wait until you over shift and are replacing values and doing a top end on your 2.7. you might wished bought one that had that feature. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) You can have issues with the sparkplug wires, and as mentioned you could have issues with the tach working correctly if you use a VDO. |

Because according to Mark the model mentioned has a limiter. |
