Looking for a Ignition CM for my 1974 2.7l engine. I see the MSD 6201 Digital 6A on pelican and I am wondering if i'll run into any issues with that, and also what else would I need?

So I got my parts today, Im running the MSD 6AL with the shock resistant coil and I also bought the Pertronix electronic ignition unit that gets rid of the points in the distributor.
I came across this photo thats been on the forum before reguarding a wiring diagram on how to hook it all up and my question is; Is this accurate? I dont have the tach adapter and have seen some need it and others don't so im not sure if i really need it just yet. (VDO gauge) The instructions for the Pertronix unit is showing me to connect the wires to the coil and then the MSD is also telling me to send some wires to the coil, this is where my confusion is.
