I was all hot on the idea.... then I saw that it was a hatchback... err.... pickup truck.

This is the thing that I don't do, hatchbacks.

It's ok Aaron, I am 32% gay, we can still hang out.

Yes, that looks better. Not helping us, but yep.

Nissan calls their Boxster coupe '350Z'.

Does anyone have anything positive to say about this car? I'm honestly pumpedthat Porsche is coming out with a Boxster coupe, me thinks its gonna be a pretty little thing. Me thinks its going to be my prescious.

But maybe i'm a bit biased, and maybe i'm a lot bit biased. I even think the 924's are pimp lokkin cars, so maybe i'm so biased towards Porsches that i'm off the deep end.

Rick, I didn't post it elsewhere. I just like you guys... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) And who else can relate to mid-engined madness?

pete

Hi Pete!

Don't get me wrong.. I dig the middle motor. But it's time for Porsche to take a chance and restyle the the re-birth of the hottest chassis layout ever.

I think their worried the 911 crowd will reject any new ideas like they have in the past. look at the 914, 924, 944, and 928. To the 911 crowd there all NARPS. MHO No dis-respect intended. Hey, Who could blame them. That's their bread and butter crowd.

So they named it a C7 to keep it in front of the Vette, and it's a hatchback.

Nothing wrong with that, comes from a long line of highly respected hatchbacks... the gremlin, the pacer, the pinto, the pinto wagoneer grand pinto, the family truckster... the international harvester..
