As I mentioned before, my niece drove up to Montreal to see the game.
In the car was a woman from Brazil who was on the side of the U.S. since Brazil got knocked out of the finals on Fathers Day, a woman from Croatia who was for Germany and my niece who is a pale white Irish girl from Massachusetts. Can't imagine them coming back through the U.S Immigration.. A woman with a Brazilian accent, a woman with a Russian accent and my niece with a Massachusetts accent.. Both of the women with foreign accents are Corrections Officers in N.H. Must have been interesting to say the least. I have absolutely no interest in Sports generally, but did watch the game to see if anyone I knew in the stands got arrested.. Some foreign people really take the game too seriously.. Everyone got home safe and they were glad they were there to enjoy it in person. |
