I have seen posts that say the 914 trans can get to 300 degrees or more during a 30 minute race? Is this usually the case? I installed a trans pump and cooler and at the race last weekend the temp went to 220 and stayed there. My temp is measured with an adapter in the speedo drive hole so it reads fluid temps.
