Scroll to the bottom of the bid page you will see:
Bid retraction and cancellation history Bidder Action Date of Bid and Retraction l***1 ( 774Feedback score is 500 to 999) Retracted: US $23,000.00 Bid: Jul-18-15 16:02:44 PDT Retracted: Jul-19-15 16:25:03 PDT u***u ( 1 ) Retracted: US $29,500.00 Bid: Jul-20-15 05:27:12 PDT Retracted: Jul-20-15 05:31:19 PDT u***u ( 1 ) Retracted: US $29,000.00 Bid: Jul-20-15 05:35:19 PDT Retracted: Jul-20-15 05:37:12 PDT u***u ( 1 ) Retracted: US $29,000.00 Bid: Jul-20-15 05:42:47 PDT Retracted: Jul-20-15 05:46:13 PDT Whomever this is "u***u ( 1 )" is willing to pump it up to $29,500.00. At this point a lot of people should retract their bids as well. It's all suspicious and that car is very rough. It almost looks like it has suffered water damage. Seller has a feedback score of 11. All of the feedback is over one year old and 9 of that was for purchases. So, he actually has a seller feedback score that is 100% positive for the past twelve months because it is blank for 12 months. He has 100% positive of nothing. |

what it looks like is that bidder bid the 29.5 and may have gotten past the reserve price, then decided to retract those high bids and go back to bumping his own lower
bids once he figured out what the reserve range was. . Then I got an EBay message that the the seller lowered the reserve... still always seems fishy when a bidder with a '1' feedback gets involved and the effect is the prices gets bumped up. . What I don't get is this car will require a minimum of $30-40 K to get it right and make it worth the $70-80 K that driver Six's go for. When the auction clearly say's "Needs Floors Replaced" that is cause to be concerned that what it should include is 'Longitudinal's need replacing" |

Yeah, that poor car is very rough. That's a $50-60K restoration assuming it is all there to begin with. That is a $20K car as it sits. Hope someone rescues it and restores it.

The failing re-paint in the front trunk and the body color front bumper are not good signs.

Didn't it sell at 39k last time? Guess the buyer changed their mind? This one is not too far from me but money I don't have.

QUOTE The seller of this one can't be too thrilled with a high bidder that has one feedback. It looks fishy too with that bidder upping his/her own high bid a couple of times. Reserve is met too. Then imagine how the vendor of my 6 (yes, it languishes) might have felt. He lived in Pennsylvania, listed his sisters original 6, and his own (completely disassembled Convertible D). My buddy and I had never been to ebay before, our first transactions. We bought his D, and I bought his 6. NOW for the kicker, he then agreed to rent a UHaul at our expense, pack the D into the UHaul, tow the 6, and drive from Pennsylvania to Vancouver BC...to be flown back (he was retiring, wanted to drive across the US, and we wanted the cars)...was a great guy, wish I had not lost track of him |

I looked at this one around 4 years ago. It went for 21K on ebay and was not much better.
It dis run, but the paint was a disaster. Attached thumbnail(s) |

Cars a rotbox most likely, mouldy damp storage, the door panels and most of the interior are slowly disentergrating, really if this area is doing this what is the body like ,well on the way also......as the overused saying "run Forrest run".
Barn find whats that ? a damp wet leaking building to put tractors animals and such like, besides the seller appears to be a little dodgy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) |

It's back again? There's definitely something fishy going on here... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-914-6-/162...em=162077228095 I reached out to this person the a few weeks ago. I saw he was located in my state and figured if he's not far that I could go check it out. I never heard anything from the seller. Fishy seller maybe or he doesn't want a real description of the car out there? |

This car was for sale not very far from me originally. Now says in Florida? I contacted the seller to see what they say. Has to be a scam.
