hey! i had a 53 chev w/ the 235 straight six, decent enough car. I converted it to 12v and ended up trading it to a friend of mine who made it his and his fathers project car, shaving all chrome off and welding the hoods together. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/clap.gif)

Hey My Grandfather had one of those! He never sold it, drove it until they took away his license. A true classic IMHO dude but needs a 348 in it.

My Grandfather had one too. For some reason the grandkids put pennies in the dashboard slots which caused a constant rattle. The only reason I can think of was to rattle Grandpa, which we did quite often to him and he to us. Why I remember that I don't know. |

That is funny! I used to work at a car stereo shop/AV Repair place. Part of the repair process was to tape a baggie with the defective part on the unit when it was all fixed up. Pop tarts and Ritz crackers in the VCRs were most common. It was great, I never had to leave for lunch
