I'll add a quick thought here, as it's 2AM and I can't sleep:
I'm creating an Excel spreadsheet of the maintenance history for my recent rustbucket purchase. This is a car that will need some serious work, but as you go through a thick stack of receipts, you see all the work that was done and all the care taken of the car. This is a $1400 base model project that I'm going to spend some time on and turn it into a cute orange go-devil; nothing fancy but still a remnant of an analog era. It seems a real shame that folks will take cars that are probably more complete than mind, sell off a few good bits, then chuck the rest. |

Sucker born every minute? If George could make $20K melting it all, he would have done it already.... |

This is the worst part...
"If you see anything that you specifically need we can list it for you in a separate e bay auction. " Sound fair? (it's early, let it process....get the problem with that yet?) |

I think George and I used the same builder for our wheel shelves.

'Lovingly removed over the years from many many Porsche 914 924 944 and 911 models'...
... and then unlovingly left in a leaking shed. |
