My alternator bely came off the pulley, and while removing it for replacement I found both the bracket and the coil (!) had been tumbling around the blower housing. Luckily none of the wires are damaged, although the coil got roughed up a bit. I'm having a hard time finding where it was mounted, both shop manuals have fuzzy pictures on where it goes on my 1.8 with L-jet.
The bolts are long gone, not sure where they went, but a few years ago I had a local shop install and SVDA for me and I suspect something they did caused this...Can someone guide me with a picture of where it mounts? Thanks in advance Mark |
