Well, I am out. the price has gone beyond my reach. It is just too bad that this cool 914 is destined to being disassembled for the engine. Too bad.

The good news is that the car may show back up without an engine at an attractive price. There are still lots of good 2.7 and 3.0 engines available that will actually provide a better driving experience for reasonable money. |

I'm a bit surprised at the current price that someone hasn't pulled the trigger on the BIN price (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
If I'd had the $$ I'd have been all over it For the $1k left on the table, someone's going to be pissed at themselves for not just doing it at this point. |

^^ I am not that ingenious ^^ Apparently Ebay has a feature when you get well over reserve, they remove the "buy it now" option. |

Apparently Ebay has a feature when you get well over reserve, they remove the "buy it now" option. As soon as reserve is met the BIN option goes away. As someone not in line to buy it, I'm happy for you Matt, you might end up with more $$ than you expected even! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/first.gif) |

Matt I just found your listing. You know this is probably an Creamsicle right? Its within the 914 LE VIN and all it takes is a call to 1800PORSCHE x5 to verify, unless you already have a COA.

Real S motors bring big money (potentially as much as you want for the whole car). You could sell that engine, drop in a 3.0, and still have plenty in your pocket! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) The 3.0 might be a little more street friendly and it's a win for everyone! Bill is right. Case in point. I just sold this engine for $20K. Buyer will spend another $15 - 20K at our shop having it rebuilt. It is the correct year and model (69S) for the buyers car but not number matching to the coa. Attached image(s) |

Your correct. It is an LE. Front bumper has a small chip in the corner with orange paint under it. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/s30.postimg.org-11125-1443895991.1.jpg) Matt |

Yea but mine is missing the MFI and the MFI shroud though...which is like $6k +/- of value.

339537 Your correct. It is an LE. Matt Cool...another found. Can you send me the chassis number from the drivers door jamb front plate for the 914 LE Registry? Thanks and GLWTS. I think you mean 0839537? |
