correct me if i'm wrong, but this sounds like the question of a person who has not spent much time dealing with Bosch LH-Jetronic... a guy back in the Sierra Nevada Region bought the ex-Callaway Turbo 928 (blown motor, melted pistons...) and was (wisely) convinced not to try to re-engineer the turbo but instead install a 32-V Euro 928S4 engine. which was a good idea, except it was an L-Jetronic car. he spent a year trying to work out the wiring harness differences, gave up, had the car towed to Devek, who spent an additional 5-6 weeks making it all work. the LH-Jetronic is sweet when it's used in the car and engine it was designed for. go very far off that straight-and-narrow and it gets complicated in a hurry. fortunately, this was not my car. i'd poke a GMC 6-71 blower up through the hood drawing through a couple of 4-barrel Holleys ... |
