My Dad had a house fire, and the Fire department ran out of water because he is a mile away from a hydrant.
So I thought I would post these pictures. I thought you all might like to see them. |

Wow, I hope everyone (people, pets, fish) got out okay. That's really sad. We had a fire at a restaurant we owned out here at the lake where I live. The firefighters ran out of water, but they just moved the feed to the lake and got it out. It's almost unfortunate that they were able to put our fire out, because almost 50% was totally gone... We ended up paying out the ass to rebuild half of the place instead of totalling it out.

Well we lot one pet, a Dog very sad, but what can you reallly say?
The other 911 had bad heat damage so it is getting repainted and a new top. Mybe he will step up to a newer 993 for the other 911! I am the one with the 914, so I can't convert him! he loves the 911! cool! all Porsche's rock! |

Was it a volunter fire dept or full time?
Good lesson for video taping the contents of your house. Trying to remember what you had to file a claim. Take a video camera and tape every room. Glad everyone was ok. |
