I'll look into the O&H forum. I don't hang out there. Sounds fun. 914club? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif) Really? Seriously? What's the point? I don't bother posting or selling parts ANYWHERE but here. Am I missing something?

There is an occasional good topic on there, plus their CL searches cover all of the country, whereas 914world's CL search & post/notify routine is only some of the areas. I've found some needed parts on CL in the "extra" areas which 914club covers. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Otherwise, the fake member spammers allowed to post BS in their forums in a royal PITA, & George's IT guy Jason doesn't give a damn about deleting the fake members .... or however your remove or permanently block someone from one of these sites. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

That's my view on 914club now.

O&H - Originality & History Forum - is a good reference for accurate restorations & preservation 914s, for Concours/CW stuff, & the varied history of the 914 & Porsche, etc.

O&H is more of a resource, as are the Events, Paddock, Racing, Classifieds, etc. Forums - whereas the Garage Forum is where most folks "hang out".

That's why I feel that an OT & other "warning tags" in the title allows topics to get exposed to the widest membership, & then most members are smart enough to scroll by those in which they're not interested.

Unfortunately a few self-appointed post enforcers feel the need to jump in & complain, post nasty posts, or ask for them to be moved to the Sandbox as a sort of punishment.

I mean really - those folks don't need to open those topics at all - which are probably half of everything in the Garage to somebody, as AndrewB noted in his post above!

IMHO, those who jump in here are just looking to (IMG:style_emoticons/default/stirthepot.gif) .... as we've seen here! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

No - the way it is, is that it's okay for any OT in the Garage, not just cars - or in any other forum as an OT post - so long as it's tagged in the title as OT! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif)

So that's 3 votes above to let folks post whatever wherever OT - so long as they're tagged in the title as OT - & leave them alone & not arbitrarily move some out but not others! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

That is the status quo - "the way it is" - if the rules are indeed followed guys!
