You're right, I forgot. I was even the one who suggested the historic posts be duplicated so each site would start from the same place and evolve on from there. But between you and me it's probably not the work since you're going to be re-writing the rules anyway, right?

I think for an ot topic to remain in the Garage it should at least be automotive in nature.

^this....I didn't plan on commenting...

Now that I checked, all my thread in the garage are automotive related (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

As I recall it, the garage was for 914 automotive posts, and all other automotive posts were to be labeled OT.

IIRC the sandbox didn't exist when EVERYTHING started way back when. So the ot label was fair warning. People also posted what might be considered NSFW items in the garage. Seen that warning in a while?

That's right. IIRC Redshift started a topic "The Sandbox, Do Not Look" in the European classified section long before World began. Been down hill since then. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

So let me get this straight... This forum is free to all of us - some generous folks contribute their time and money to keep the World free and turning.

Yet the over reaction and attitude amazes me... I think someone is suffering from first world problems.

And now back to regularly scheduled programming - cars in the garage, politics, sports, etc in the sandbox.

But if you really want a change, try Lotus Talk, the self-proclaimed leader in Lotus forums where very few posts actually pertain to cars, so therefore Lotus ownership or interest is not required.

Well I personally think that the Holden based current Chevy SS, & recent 2000s Pontiac G8 & GTO (2) were/are great cars, but I never drove the OZ Holdens nor Fords (we had a bus for our OZ Tour back in 80) - so I can't say about them. I'm sure ther are a few OZ Ruggers who drove them rhodyguy!

As for myself - this Rugby player drove a 914 for about half of my Rugby career (10 years & 145k miles +/- out of 26) - before that for 4 college years it was 1 year in my Opel Kadett & then 4 years in my 69 Pontiac Ventura (Catalina line), the the current DDs `85 325e E30 &` 88 Westy served as my cars for the final 11 years 85-96.

Again - that was 10 years 1975-85 driving my 73 914-2.0 ("914S") daily for about 145,000 miles! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

Oh gollly - lookie (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) - I just made this topic not an OT by discussing cars!
Well I guess I can now change the topic title from OT!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)

First off I don’t give a shit about rugby. Or basketball, hockey, baseball and just about any TEAM sports. ( being from Pittsburgh, I do watch the Steelers though, but not fanatically )

That said this forum is not a democracy. SirAndy doesn’t have to pay any attention to the rules he made them up. It’s his forum. If moving a thread is the worst thing that happens to you, you lead a really blessed life.

I have been on forums and was banned just for participating in another similar forum. No links to it, just participating. And not just me, a bunch of other regular members. No explanation just banned.

On a different forum one of the regular contributors was filtered out. Any mention of the members name, just gone. No explanation. Just gone.

One guy that started an early Ford Raptor forum I participated in lost interest and just closed it down. Everything gone. Lots of good people and info lost.

Your thread got moved, big deal, you know where to look for it just go there.

Quit your bitching, Yeah you have a higher post count than me. I don’t care.

Are you one of those entitled whining Liberals? I don’t care.

Apparently you did not read the OP nor the rest .... NOT my threads - I started this for members; discussion on the rules & how they're applied -

NOT for member bashing!

Well, at least you're from Pittsburgh & a Steelers fan! ... can't be all bad.

But you do need to grow up & stop the bashing, ...

....rather just express your opinion - which apparently let SirAndy & the admins do whatever they like. Have I encapsulated that correctly?

Well, a few have Bimmers & Porsches too - as does Phil with his nice 914-6! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Hmmmm..... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) new post idea which would be SOT -
How many Rugby players drive/drove/ow/owned 914s? .... or,
How many 914world members who ar Rugby plyers/fans/ex-players/etc. still own/drive 914s? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif)
