Hey Ben, I saw your thread about the perlon kit for the firewall. I am curious if you came up with an elegant solution to hide the seatbelt retractors when doing this.

Nope they just sit out in the open

I fired the car up yesterday to circulate the oil and test the new alternator, tighten belt. If there wasn’t salt on the road it would have been the earliest drive for the year for me. One good rain away

Well have enjoyed the car for almost 10 years now since I started the build. Throwing this out there. I am half heartedly listing it for sale. $45 k if someone is looking. If it doesn’t sell I will just keep it but as they say everything is always for sale.

Well decided to keep it. Stored it all winter in heated storage and then picked it up a few weeks ago. Fired right up and ran awesome. Last Thursday took it for a nice 100 mile ride and got fresh non ethonal 93 octane fuel and parked it. Now if they could get going on our house.

Excellent, the one good thing from being income-less the last year is that it kept me from buying you car.

Glad it’s staying with you to enjoy!

Given the investment, time and $ it's probably a good call. There's not many out there in better tune, keep and enjoy
