Finally epoxy primed frunk and windshield frame. Gonna let it cure and then prime with buildable/ sandable primer on the cowl and windshield frame.. Also gotta pick up a quart of bedliner this week to take care of some seams ala Kent and Bbrocks method. Attached Image

@bbrock quick question as you recently did this.. I read you can top coat epoxy within 5 days without scuffing. That said was thinking I might be able to spray surfacer on yet this evening. Never sprayed that quickly unless going sealer/base/clear. I don't believe it will be an issue but looking for some feedback.

I wouldn't think it would be an issue. I used PPG DPLF epoxy and the recoat time is 15 minutes and the time to topcoat is 60 minutes for 1 coat and 90 minutes for 2 coats. Unless the spec sheet on your paint says different, I'd think you would be good to go. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumb3d.gif)

Sprayed final coat of seam sealer. I used upol this time instead of monstaliner only becuase it was available locally. Upol/raptor is more runny then monstaliner but much more tame smell wise. I did find out that my local paint store actually rents the real deal sealer gun made by SEM. Too late though .

Now just a little sanding and then sealer and color. Attached Image
