So it runs AWSOM. I started this last year to replace my driver. Not how it worked out. But this is really good. Ported, balanced, lightened flywheel, 9 to 1 cr, 107i WEB camed, and hydrolic lifters.

With the cam it did NOT want to run with the stock MPS. Which led me to the LM-1. I'm a carpenter, bascily a dirt framer. I understand how the coil works and thats about it. All of this has been a completer extention for me. A total epithaney. If I can lay any of this on any of you. I have the TOOLS and we can work it out.

It's a wide band O2 sensor setup (narrow band is worthless). Works awesome! I just used mine for the first time today. Also has an add on pack that allows you to data log various other electrical signals, such as MPS readings or TPS or Trigger Point, etc.

Shoot Mark, I didn't know about all that add-on stuff. I was just happy to be able to read my changes to the MPS.

I haven't used the add on stuff yet. I'm reading about it now. If I hook it up to my MAP sensor and tach signal I can log those two signals plus the AFR and take that info to make tuning as simple as going out and driving my car for 10 minutes. Come back, analyze the data, make changes in the ECU across the RPM/load range all at once. And repeat. I would expect to only have to do that 3 or 4 times to get nearly perfect AFR across the board.
Watch my KitCarlson thread for more. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) |

Joe, make sure you get that WOT plug back in right or you will blow out the diaphram in short order.

Geoff: I've been very cearful with the top end, Keeping it pertty lean with the Full Load Stop, just getting it down to 14.3 this after noon. Anything you can tell me that would help, lay it on me. I had it way out of wack and had Linda try to hold the rpm to between 2500 and 3000 and brought it right back ( thank you very much) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/pray.gif) I am having fun.
