Found on Craigslist a lien sale for $800, two 914's with one engine and two transaxle's.
Never had a dual carb 914-4, no information of it history. Just got them home and don't know if it runs yet. I have read that the cam needs to be machined for it to work right. So, my question is if the dual carb is worth more or disirable than stock fuel injection. Had a 1969 912 with dual carbs, it ran great! I couldn't past on it, I was thinking of doing a Magnus Walker paint scheme. Tracy W Chico,CA |
