Yup, that's my car.
It's fine by me if Jeroen wants to use a different picture.
Both of the first 2 events had 100+ entries I was the only 914, the only Porsche and the only German car, (except for 1 BMW at the 2nd auto-x). I placed 1st and 2nd in ASP. (I sure hope my competitions doesn't read this thread.) I would have been 3rd and 4th in SM-2. If I got bumped to SM I would have to get off my street tires to be able to compete. |

I've stood around in enough parking lots and I thought that I had gained some knowledge about autocross. But, I've never seen this before. What does the position of these cones signify?

I don't think so. Unless it's a CA thing. The tip of the cone should be pointing at the standing cone itself to indicate which side of the standing cone one should pass on. Other directional cones can be laying on their side to indicate the desired direction of travel but should not be near a standing cone. |

The vanity plate had always been 1 SLIK6 until I got a hold of it. In the past we have been asked not to post magazine articles on this forum. I do have a copy. Is there anything specific you want to know? |
