(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/clap.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/clap.gif) I want to thank Aaron Cox for taking three hours out of the middle of his day to look at a V8 car with me.
Aaron has never met me before, but I knew he lived nearby (more or less) the teener. So I sent him a PM asking if he would like to look at the car with me. He was great, on time, super helpful and tons of knowledge. I owe you Aaron! |

Actually, when I bought him lunch for his troubles, he couldn't stop looking at every girl that drove by or walked in.
I read all the rumors about him, but I am not buying it. |

The garage door was open when I got there. I was really happy at 80 feet, accepting at 30 and depressed at 10. The car has all the right parts just poorly executed. The current owner did not build the car, but the PO did not seem to put any time in to putting it together.
I took pictures, but will have to figure out how to post them. I know what a rookie. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif) Then I will get them on. In short: Fiberglass flares- (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) - but not attached well and fiber tape lines (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif) Rear ended- (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/unsure.gif) - Repaired but wrinkled in the trunk (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif) New paint - (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) -no prep on the panels and overspray (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/blink.gif) 2 piece cup wheels - (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) - major road rash on one, mild on the other (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/mad.gif) Seems to cool well- (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) - but single 16" fan and foam pushed in on the sides to control flow (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) V8 - (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wub.gif) no initial issues, started well, electric choke was right on, great idle. Did not dig any deeper 911 A front brakes (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wub.gif) no issues Weltmeister front bar with new bushings in the trunk (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) Carbon fiber dash overlay - (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) - poorly installed Emergency brake works- (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) Tail shifter (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wacko.gif) 5 lug - (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wub.gif) - adapter brackets in front. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif) It goes on and on, little things to like the windshield trim was handbrushed black and the door handles were monochromed wit hout any prep and are chipping. The car drove well, set really firm, Aaron felt it was more firm than his and his is set up for AX. In my opinion, you would buy this car change the radiator out immediately and driver restoration project. Aaron, being 6' something would remove the steering wheel extension too. Aaron- Chime in and I will work on posting pics. |

flares.... looked good from 20 feet. not bonded on great. looked closer...and it got uglyt underneath.... you can see the seam at the body.
Cooling.... home made, 1 16" fan with FOAM sheets to secure airflow rear ended.... poor fix... we were like "why does the trunk over hang extra..... bad paint 17" 2 piece cup wheels.... with 5 to 5 adapters (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/unsure.gif) stock tie rods.... welt sway.... looked new.... welt poly bushings F/R in the trunk.... uninstalled.... 911 a calipers...... way over sprung upfront...guessing 23mm t bars (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) and a ghetto harness bar.... and that renegade hybrids wheel extender???? man... could drive with my shoulders....
