The garage door was open when I got there. I was really happy at 80 feet, accepting at 30 and depressed at 10. The car has all the right parts just poorly executed. The current owner did not build the car, but the PO did not seem to put any time in to putting it together.
I took pictures, but will have to figure out how to post them. I know what a rookie.
Then I will get them on.
In short:
Fiberglass flares-
- but not attached well and fiber tape lines
Rear ended-
- Repaired but wrinkled in the trunk
New paint -
-no prep on the panels and overspray
2 piece cup wheels -
- major road rash on one, mild on the other
Seems to cool well-
- but single 16" fan and foam pushed in on the sides to control flow
V8 -
no initial issues, started well, electric choke was right on, great idle. Did not dig any deeper
911 A front brakes
no issues
Weltmeister front bar with new bushings in the trunk
Carbon fiber dash overlay -
- poorly installed
Emergency brake works-
Tail shifter
5 lug -
- adapter brackets in front.
It goes on and on, little things to like the windshield trim was handbrushed black and the door handles were monochromed wit hout any prep and are chipping.
The car drove well, set really firm, Aaron felt it was more firm than his and his is set up for AX.
In my opinion, you would buy this car change the radiator out immediately and driver restoration project. Aaron, being 6' something would remove the steering wheel extension too.
Aaron- Chime in and I will work on posting pics.
