I wonder if that store has one of the big catering rigs? When we were at paramount ranch in 05' the I&O idea worked out very well.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_bump.gif) for new guys texting me about where to register. Go to the first page of this thread (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) . I also have a new 914 owner meeting me at the track there this friday. The group we are getting the track through put this guy in touch with me. Not sure if he is on the world yet but I'll get him here soon. He plans to come & is excited to have a group to be a part of. Let alone having such an event in his home town.

I will post some pics from the track this friday. Maybe even get a little video from a run. Woohoo this is going to be a blast

Good news is the Bahia Red Ale is brewed and in the bottles. Just need to make labels for them. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Uh oh! Your brewing & bringing beer to the event? Man you won't fit in here at all (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif)

On a different note. Is anyone coming who is big into photography? We always have plenty of pictures. Just wondering if anyone wanted to volunteer to be the official photographer for the weekend? No pressure or anything. There are always plenty of pictures taken. Someone mentioned it & I figured to throw it out there. Just in case someone wanted to do it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

I plan on being there this Sat. It sounds like you are only going on Friday evening. If there is any way I'll try to be there on Friday evening as well. So if you see a red 944, it's probably me. It will be my first go round at this track.

I'm hitting the road to Medford in an Hour! Some track time heading my way soon (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) . I Love this track & can't wait to get on it for some fun. I'm flat towing down & taking my track wheels w/RH1's on them. Be my first time using them so planning to do a run with my street tires. Then change them to see how big a difference they make. Going to be a blast

I like your picture better. My uncle I brought along is fired. LOL! Nah he did get some video that was good. Meant to get an video from in the car for a run. Completely spaced it. That was my first time with RH1 slicks instead of just street tires. Man what a difference in grip. I had a great time & the weather was gorgeous. 70 & blue skies the whole time. I got a good 20 minutes of track time tonight & hung out for 2+ hours. My uncle did an equal amount of runs in my car. I think I'll be coming down & joining these guys a few times a year. Met Dan, Don & his wife (already forgot your name sorry), Steve & another guy with a 914 (rupert I think). Although he was running some sweet little home made car. He & his son Co-drive it. The group is excited to have us come. They have half a dozen people from there club who volunteered to come help for the day. We have the track until 4. We will have timed runs but will be able to take a passenger (with a helmet). Also anyone who didn't get enough runs. You can stay & do there practice that night. It's only $10 for that. You get to run the track anyway you want. Only one person out at a time. Usually at least 3 lap runs. There was maybe a dozen cars there tonight. Only about 4 at a time who were in the pits ready to go

Here is the exterior video of the green arrow.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3tlog8cbw4...eature=youtu.be

For those that can use them. I have a set of R tires on 7 inch rims. 225x50x16 and 245x45x16. Probably won't fit under stock fenders and the tires are really old, but lots of life left. Maybe someone might be able to use them.

I have to do some fender massaging to make my new toyo's fit, but they stick pretty good.

I already registered and reserved a hotel room, but unfortunately cannot make it to WCR this year. Anyone need a room? PM if you're interested.

Saturday I took the wife's car down to the Rogue Regency Inn and met up with Steve, Renee, Jamie, and his uncle. We are planning the WCR Road Trip for this year.

Since we have been leaning toward a road trip to Crater Lake, Jamie and his uncle accompanied me on a trip there to get an idea of road conditions, places to stop, etc.

Heading out of Medford on Rt 62 we ran into a dozen or so Porsche's convoying along! I handed Jamie my camera for some pics and ended up with a short video. The road is clear all the way up except there is a lot of snow on the side of the road at higher elevation.

It's about 65 miles to Crater Lake via 62 and there are a couple great sites on the way to get group pictures. We are still deciding whether Crater Lake is the best option for a road trip and I have been suggesting we loop back to Medford via 140 over Lake of the Woods. That would be 80 miles back.

I would appreciate any feedback as to how many of you want to go and if a 150 mile trip is reasonable.

That just happens to be closer to the track too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I think within a mile which would make sense. There is a drag race track next door.

Thanks to Ken for taking us up. I think Crater lake will be an option but I don't think we will make that an official stop on Saturday. Super crowded & we really can't get our cars in a picture with the Crater Lake in the background. The burms are to high there. Hwy 62 leading up is a nice drive. The Stewart State park had plenty of space & had a good view. I think that will be our photo op stop. The Lake of the woods was awesome & where we had our stop last time for lunch. I did talk with them & they are happy to have us come by again. We'll talk some more Ken (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
