it's hot here! 30°c... 30°c? What is that in American? Mike, you must be getting your weather updates from the Spanish language channel ... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i.makeagif.com-12234-1463561551.1.gif) ... not saying it's a bad thing To convert C to F, double C and add thirty. Accurate to within a few degrees. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Seriously you're looking at the temperature... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) |

Saturdays drive schedule has changed. We will adjust according to the weather. If we have a dry-semi dry window. We will still do a drive. If it is going to be wet. The day will be a little more open. I'll provide a few options as possibilities. You all can decide what to do from there. We will still be doing the awards dinner as planned

Made it to Eugene an hour early for my son's law school gradation.
On the way I stopped at the Cabin Creek rest area. A couple older gals (85+) pulled in right next to me. Buick with Iowa plates. She had to ask about my car. She is the original owner of a 72. Small World. She was quick to ask about my missing bumper guards. How cool is that. I told her too bad she didn't stop in Medford this am. She would have seen 30 more. I'll email Brad in the am and see if he knows of her and the car. |

Huge thanks to everyone who helped make this happen!
Ben James headed up our prizes Ken (relentless) headed up the drive we were going to do saturday(I ended up changing the route because of rain) So he went through the trouble of planning. Only to have weather screw things up. Steve(shogun eagle) & Renee all pitched in there too Drew Montoya brought his killer BBQ trailer Mike (6freak) brought 40 Moose Burgers (which were AWESOME) & took on BBQ cooking duties Mark Whitesell (setup our hotel & got the group rate) Not to mention all the sweet prizes he gave away (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drooley.gif) Michael-Warpig took care of the t-shirts Dan Dixon made all of the Dog Tags Jim Hoyland who made all our awesome tags! (damn it all I knew I'd forget to list someone (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) ) . My family all helped out in shopping & setting things up. So extra thanks to everyone who helped out including our vendors. Although I am going to do a special thank you to all of them separately. |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) Thanks for the event organization, Jamie. It was a bit of a bummer for me, not having my car up and running, but I was glad I went and met a lot of you guys up there. Also, that run on the track in your car is unforgettable!!!!! Great weekend! Jamie, you did a fantastic job and made it all come together. If I didn't know that the route had changed for Saturday, I would have thought it was what you had planned. There was time to drive and time to spend with friends.
The two trophies that came home in the trunk of my car was just the topping on the perfect weekend. |
